expected in time for the Autumn. They seem quite content to remain indefinitely within the confines of the studio. How will they cope?
Mare: "I think we're both very dominant people, we know exactly what we like, we have the same tastes, and we don't have to tell each other 'let's play like this' , because we know intuitively what's right.
"We can concentrate on the music now, instead of having lots of rows ... Musicians, who needs 'em?"
Does it please you in a way, people finding you difficult to cope with?
Mare: "Obviously it does, yeah, it does appeal to me."
Olle: "To me too. It's no fun when people say, 'Oh, I know how you sound', because they just think they know, and I'm very glad when people say 'I found it difficult, but now I've discovered things', because thev've made an effort. It's an explanation of love in a way, I think."
They are difficult, but just one listen to song of such quality as 'The Garden' or 'An Inch Of Nothing' promises so much more ... and when, after plenty of eager perseverance, the Infantilists' magic makes itself clear, a music of beautifully glowing depth is revealed.

What triggers these mysterious sounds?
Mare: "Simple things in life, being happy, being depressed, being in love, things like that ... the essence of pop."
Olle: "You must trust your intuition."
  Are you romantic people?
"I think so, we both are."
Mare: "Incurable romantics.
It's nice to dream about things."

This you simply must discover for yourselves. Trust your intuition.
